Liverpool Pre Season Fixtures

Liverpool will be traveling to Hong Kong & China for their 2017 Pre-season tour where they are set to play two friendly games as part of Premier League Asia Trophy. Two games will be played in Hong Kong and Shanghai on 20 July and 22 July. First game will be against another premier league side Southampton and the other one will feature one of the Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.

Liverpool 2017 Asian Pre-Season Tour Dates: Liverpool will play 2 friendly games in Asia as part of Premier League Asia Trophy. Liverpool main sponsor Standard Chartered were eager for Liverpool to visit Hong Kong for the first time since 2007 where they have a solid fan base. Two games on 20 July and 22 July will be followed by another high profile friendly in Australia (yet to be confirmed) and Liverpool will finish their 2017 tour with another friendly in England probably at Anfield before the start of 2017-18 season.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that they will be traveling to far east for 2017 pre-season tour and it makes sense considering there is a massive fan base of Liverpool. Reds traveled to United States last year where they were part of International Champions Cup but this year they opted to visit Asia/Australia on the request from their main sponsor Standard Charted who have alot of business interest in the area.

Liverpool will finish of their 2017 pre-season in England with another friendly game possibly against Scottish side but it is yet to be confirmed.
